New Project

Yesterday morning, I put the girls to work sorting the pinks and purples in one of my scrap bins...

...because I decided that busting some of the accumulated pinks....

...would be a good thing to do.... especially when I had some help.

  6. What a coincidence - we're going into the third Sunday of having my 9-year-old granddaughter sort scrap blocks for me. Kids can do such a good job and it really is a time-saver.

  7. Now Freda, what are you doing to me? I just decided yesterday, as part of my decluttering to get rid of all my scraps, now you post these cute color co-ordinated string blocks. I never cared for the string block as they always turned out so wild but with the same color, I love them. Guess I will have to rethink my scraps.

  8. I bet your helpers enjoyed the "work". I enjoyed the thought. My would be helpers all live 100s of miles away.
    Hugs!

  11. So much for not getting a lot of sewing done this weekend because of visitors. Always good to have some visiting helpers.

This quilt is gonna be spectacular! Next to blue, I'm a pink girl.
