Return of the Mug Rug

Every time I walk past the dining room table with the unpinned quilt sandwich, I realize just how large it is... and how long it's going to take me to quilt.

How do I handle this type of situation?  Why, of course... task avoidance!   *lol*

So I made a mug rug...

...so MUCH quicker....

  1. Very pretty! Some day I'm going to get a machine that doesn't fight me, and learn to quilt. I enjoy your posts!

  4. Beautiful mug rug! Sometimes we need to take a detour to make the job waiting seem a little less daunting. And I should know, it took me 9 months to finish a quilt and five of those were spent waiting for me to quilt it - lol!

  9. LOVE IT! I am making a green "HOPE" mug rug for my coworker's daughter, whose favorite color is green and her middle name happens to be Hope! Will post a picture when I do it, hopefully this week. I have stocked up on a bunch of those mugs to be used for all kinds of occasions. Also bought the chicken one for the chicken lover out there. :o)
