Sometimes I like to play around and mug rugs are a perfect way to try new ideas without a huge commitment of time and materials.
Do really BRIGHT and LOUD colors work together?
Can I make flying geese and how in the world should I quilt them?
I love wonky stars... can I make one to fit a mug rug?
How hard can something like this be? (Answer: Not hard, just time-consuming... there has to be an easier way!)

Wow these are all great and you got so much done! You do a really good job of putting colors together. I made some rugs, but still have to quilt and bind them. Maybe this afternoon and tonight I can finish them.

ReplyDeleteI love your practice quilting! Have you tried utilizing free motion on a mug rug yet? You could have just plain muslin, put in dark thread and "go to town"!
