Gold Fabric?

I made a fabric run and picked up some stretchy gold fabric...

...is much brighter in real life!

Yup, sure did!   Seems a grandson who thinks Grandma can make anything, wants to be this for Halloween...

Fortunately, I am not in charge of the helmet thing...

  2. The fabric is perfect. He'll love the costume, especially 'cause Grandma made it for him ;)

  3. Good luck, Freda. I can't wait to see your "shiny guy" costume. You should watch this video where a 3 year old tells the story of the first Star Wars film. It's so cute! http://youtu.be/EBM854BTGL0

  5. Good luck! I think it will turn out great. Way back in the 90s, I made my daughter a Princess Lei costume. I didn't have a pattern, but it turned out great. I made a Luke Skywalker for my nephew and the other nephew was a purchased Darth Vader. It was a fun Halloween.

  11. Very nice, Grandma. Bella found glittery fairy wings to wear with her tutu, so I am off the hook this year. So far, at least.
