Jelly Roll Quilt

While waiting for the backing fabric for the 16-patch quilt to arrive, I did a little mindless sewing...

...now, just need to pin and start quilting, which will be my fall back wavy-line quilting.  Then, I will need to figure out what to use for binding.

  1. The batiks look very nice as a jelly roll quilt.

  2. The colors in the quilt really draw me in and there is something very soothing about mindless piecing.

  3. This is beautiful, Wanda. My favorite go to quilt pattern and quilting method for a quick, lovely, colorful quilt, especially in batiks. I made a batik one and use it everyday. I love your banner and your post today reminds me that I want to make another.
Truly easy sewing with beautiful results. A good keeper, gift or donation quilt idea. Thank you, dear.

  5. That's a beauty. I'm working on a strip quilt of blues and yellows now - found it in a box while I was looking for my 9 1/2' ruler. It's not that beautiful. Don't you just love batiks!
