New Quilt Layout

Once organized, the layout went smoothly...

I do need to work on finding a place for a design wall, rather than a "design floor"...  it's murder on the lower back!

Only found two (more) oopsies...  that's what I get for trying to change a pattern to suit me...  *lol*

  2. It looks great. For a designwall you need a big wall that's not in use, and I don't get a wall that is not already in use so i have to help myself with the disignfloor too;o)

  3. I use my design bed which is only marginally better than the floor. My stretch doesn't make it to the middle of king size and sometimes the dog jumps up and helps. A big wall would be a nice thing.

  4. Got sidetracked discussing the wall and forgot to mention the great job on the quilt. As always you have a great eye. Selina

  6. Love your new quilt. I can't do the floor. I have a flannel backed tablecloth pinned to the wall. Have a great day.

Thanks so much for your uplifting comments... they always make me smile!

Have a wonderful rest of the week! Mine's looking to be pretty busy doing the 'mom thing'... but I wouldn't want it any other way!

  9. You did a great job with design! And you're so organized ~ you might consider teaching a quilting class.

  10. I like your rainbow quilt! A lot.
The tablecloth with a flannel backing on the wall is a good idea.
The floor kills my back, too.

  11. How wonderful it is! I use my bed to design on, but I'm usually standing between my honey and his television view, ha ha!
