Friday Night Sew In: Results

For last night's FNSI, I finished putting on the last borders of the Smokey Mountain Stars quilt top.

A Bonnie Hunter pattern, I like the way it turned out....  it's scrappy-ness is cool!

  1. Beautiful! This is one of my favorite patterns, I've only done a table runner in it. I like your plaids ~

  4. I'm not usually a plaid person, but I do like how the different plaids work in the stars. The quilt top looks really great.

  6. Looks great. Must feel good to use up some scraps. I think I need to make a scrappy quilt before the scraps take over.

  10. One of my favorite style of quilts. I love all of Bonnie's scrappy patterns and you have done this one to perfection!

I didn't sign up for FNSI, but guess what? I actually finished quilting the Kaleidoscope quilt and made and sewed on the binding, all today. Tonight I will sew down the back of the binding while watching tv. Its about time, don't you think! LOL

  12. Your quilt is lovely. Love scrape quilts. I think this pattern would also do nicely make up with bright colors of fabrics, too.
