Three Questions

1.  What federal holiday did the US celebrate yesterday?

2.  What closes on a federal holiday?

3.  Did the red quilt get mailed yesterday?

Answers below.

1.  Presidents Day is the federal holiday celebrated by the US yesterday.
2.  The post office closes on all federal holidays.
3.  No.......

  1. Oops!
    They say...."there is always tomorrow"
I'm sure your sister will understand.
I love all the pictures and especially love the time and effort that you put into all your posts.

  2. I know!! No bank and no P.O.! Why oh why is my office not closed that day? I. do. not. know....

  3. I did the same thing, only with the bank....I guess it will get done today.

  4. Glad I'm not the only one...I called my husband twice at work to remind him to go by the bank....

  5. Well I guess our presidents deserve a holiday. How about a national Quilters Day. All quilt shops would be open 24 hours and all fabric would be priced at a 90%off. A girl can dream can't she?

  6. I won't tell you how many times in my life I've checked the mailbox on Sundays. Lost count.

  7. LOL! In the words of Scarlett O'Hare: "I'll do it tomorrow. After all, tomorrow is another day!" Good luck on mailing the package today!

  8. Oops - none of us thought of that when you were talking about mailing your quilt.

I agree with Betty Lou that there should be a national quilters' day with all of the perks.
