Jacob's Ladder QAL Progress

Long day at work yesterday but I was able to sew together the component parts of the next four Jacob's Ladder blocks.

I'll get the blocks assembled after work today.

Gratuitous early spring flower

Fritillaria meleagris,  F. meleagris; also called:
Guinea Hen Flowers, Snake's Head Fritillary,
 the Checkered Lily.

  1. I enjoyed the Flickr link of all the different versions of this pattern! You are making progress!
I love the checkered Lily flower!

  2. You did good! I didn't work on the binding like I planned on my JL the last 2 nights. Too much going on. But I may do a little this morning before work. Have a good day.

  3. Keep those blocks coming!

What an interesting flower,I haven't seen them before.

  4. Good progress. I was trimming up HST for 27 blocks last night. Now onto 27 blocks worth of 4 patches! thanks for putting those other links yesterday - it was nice to see other progress.

  5. I want to make this pattern someday. Wonder if my temporary stash could support it.

  6. Looking good.
Congratulations....I am passing on the Liebster Blog Award to you. Details on my blog.

  7. Freda, somehow I missed that you were doing a Jacob's ladder QAL - not sure how. They are lovely!! How fun!!

  8. Busy you!
I have never seen a checkered lily. Very nice :D

  9. Love that flower, it looks gorgeous, even the name sounds intriguing, (Fritillaria meleagris) it rolls off the tongue nicely :)

  10. I have never seen that flower either. Your quilt is going to be so pretty.
