Progress & FNSI

Afternoon meetings are draining and certainly eat into one's daily sewing time.

I have finished five more blocks... so... only two more to do after surviving yet another 2-hour after-school meeting today.

Bobbi and Heidi's Friday Night Sew-In is on Friday night....

No meeting Friday afternoon... so I plan to start assembling the quilt top as soon as get home!

If you'd like to join us, you can sign up HERE....  not only do you get to sew with hundreds of others, you get to see what they were working on by visiting their blogs the next day.... AND also be eligible for a give-away!

 Let the fun begin!

  1. Work gets into the way of my quilting in a big way too! I think about it all day and then when I get home, I'm too tired to do it all. Still doing 3 blocks a day on the red and white quilt. I'm up to 60 and only 12 more!!!!

I missed FNSI the last couple of months, but I hope to this month. Hey, I'm sewing every night any way!

  4. I know what you mean because when I was working I was often too tired/too busy to spend much time sewing. Now that I am back from my vacation I am so ready to participate in the FNSI!

  5. One thing I don't miss in retirement is having to go to meetings - of any kind.
