Quilting Along

I've been quilting the tumbler quilt and have to say that doing the outline (topstitch) quilting along all the seams is very easy... even the zigzag of the vertical seams, which are just long enough ...  when I get to the point to need to move my hands, it's time to turn the quilt to sew along the next seam.

Here are a couple of photos...

I didn't finish quilting last night because I wanted to attend my granddaughters' first dance recital... couldn't miss that, now could I?

I'm about three-fourths finished quilting and hope to finish today...and get the binding sewn on.

I had a request for a better shot of the Bali Pops...

I have no plans for these... just loved the colors and the great price!

  1. What precious little dancers!!!

Your granddaughters are adorable. My granddaughter who lives in the upper penninsula takes dance lessons. Love going to her recitals.

Glad you are feeling better. Hugs

No, you couldn't miss that recital! Bet it was fun.

I enjoyed them when my daughter was dancing. Went to many of those and piano.

No more ddance recitals here, but got to watch my grandson run through the sprinkler today and we saw a turantula (sp!). Really! Well, looked like one anyway. :o)

  5. Your tumbler quilt is looking great. I can't wait to see it finished. Your little dancers are precious!

  6. Congratulations on your granddaughter's first dance recital. Such an exciting time!

  7. Beautiful little twinkle toes! Thanks for the shot of Bali Pops...I'm learning more and more here.
