What a coincidence - we're going into the third Sunday of having my 9-year-old granddaughter sort scrap blocks for me. Kids can do such a good job and it really is a time-saver. Lillian lillianscupboard.wordpress.com
Now Freda, what are you doing to me? I just decided yesterday, as part of my decluttering to get rid of all my scraps, now you post these cute color co-ordinated string blocks. I never cared for the string block as they always turned out so wild but with the same color, I love them. Guess I will have to rethink my scraps.
What a special time at Grandma's, they'll always remember helping you. And I noticed they are growing taller! This quilt is gonna be spectacular! Next to blue, I'm a pink girl.
So much better when you have such good help!
ReplyDeleteIs there a specific project in mind?
that's great pink busting. I love the string blocks.
ReplyDeleteYou'll have those two girls hooked on quilting!
ReplyDeleteLove the pink string blocks. Did you make all those yesterday? Good job.
What adorable help!!! Pink for the girls?
ReplyDeleteHow fun to work on a quilt with your granddaughters!

ReplyDeleteBeautiful!
ReplyDeleteI bet your helpers enjoyed the "work". I enjoyed the thought. My would be helpers all live 100s of miles away.
ReplyDeleteHugs!
Looks like you had a great time with the family visit!! Hope the girls catch the quilting bug!
ReplyDeleteHmmm... I wonder if I could get my nephews to help out like that? I bet it was nice to have such sweet helpers!
ReplyDeleteSo much for not getting a lot of sewing done this weekend because of visitors. Always good to have some visiting helpers.

ReplyDeleteAren't there laws against child labour? LOL
