Finished JL Flimsy

Amongst the usual weekend chores, I finished sewing together all the Jacob's Ladder blocks into a quilt top.   I had noticed it seemed to be getting darker and wondered why until I got the top pinned to the clothesline and felt the first drops off rain.

The photo isn't the best but I'll hope for a sunny day tomorrow and a second chance at a decent photo!

  1. I think it looks lovely, sun or no.
I told you before it makes me think of looking through a trellis into a beautiful garden.

  5. Looks great! Congratulations on finishing the flimsie.

I struggle with light issues when trying to photograph quilts and other blog stuff too.

Usually its at night when I'm wanting to take pictures.

  6. Congratulations on another finish. I struggle with my pictures, too. Usually I can't make my pictures do the colors in the fabrics justice.

  10. Very nice! What size blocks did you make? Mine are 9 inch blocks and once I was about 1/2 way was thinking perhaps I should have gone with 12 inch blocks and less sewing.
