If you're doing the CW blocks, you may want to check out Lillian's Cupboard, where the CW blocks are broken down a bit more to help those of us who are new to this type piecing. Thanks to a new blogging friend for sharing the link with me!
You may be sure I'll be reading Lillian's blog for the more complicated blocks!

Just a reminder that tonight is the monthly Friday Night Sew In... where you set aside some time to be creative and then... the next day share what you've accomplished online. The best part is visiting others' blogs to see what they were working on!
There are currently 119 creative ladies signed up for this virtual sewing bee... hope you'll join us!
Your blocks look great. I love the fabric.
ReplyDeletegreat blocks,well done
ReplyDeleteThe CW blocks are a lot of fun. I'm making them too! I also use Ellen from American Homestead blog (american homestead.blogspot.com) as a resource. She gives cutting short-cuts and easier ways to put the block together. She's on a world tour right now, but she still keeps up with the quilt along. It's pretty impressive.
ReplyDeleteI'm having a lot of fun working on this quilt along. The blocks are super cute too! Glad you are joining!
I have been working on the CivilWar blocks the past two days and have nine finished, they are addicting. I am like you, I think I have been picking out the easy ones. Yours are turning out very nice.
ReplyDelete2 more beautiful blocks! I know what you mean about skipping around!
ReplyDeleteThank you for the link to my blog. Your blocks are beautiful.
