It's All Debbie J's Fault!

Canton Village Quilt Works started a year-long BOM in September.  Since I had so much going on, I resisted... I was so proud of myself!

Yesterday, I came across Debbie J's blog post at Angel Scraps Quilting where she shared her first two blocks for the BOM.

Photo blatantly swiped from Angel Scraps Quilting

Yes!  That's right... Debbie chose to use holiday fabrics...  what a great idea!

Yes!  I do have some holiday fabrics tucked away in my stash....

BOM + already have fabrics = quilt for next Christmas!

Oh yes, indeedy... it's all Debbie J's fault that I'm starting yet another BOM!    That's my story and I'm sticking to it....

  1. I hope you can stick to it--all the way through 12 blocks. Then you will have a fun Christmas quilt and I will be watching. : )

  2. I'm impressed, I'm barely keeping up with my gifts for this year. Of course I could probably play catch up in January, hmmmmmmm

  6. I agree with Sheila that it's a very good idea to start a Christmas quilt now - for next year.

  10. Since I have spent the last two days making little crib quilts I think it is entirely appropriate that someone got you into something!

  14. Sure, it's Debbie's fault. If that works for you, you just go right ahead. it's so much easier to blame someone else than to admit you area quiltaholic!! Denial - not just a river in Egypt!
