Cowabunga Florabunda Progress


Yesterday, I made the label for Cowabunga Florabunda...


....and got all the binding sewn on!


It's a good thing it's chilly these days because I'm going to spend a lot of time with this puppy in my lap as I sew down binding.

  1. I love to do the triangle labels like that. Did you write that by hand? Beautiful lettering.
    And that is one huge quilt!! It is very cheerful and happy looking. Makes me smile, but then I don't have to do the binding. That makes me smile even more! : )

  3. Beautiful, big quilt. I like Hoopla! Good idea to let the ironing board help you with the quilt's weight. Been using a chair. Must try your idea!

  9. Woo Hoo!! You are in the home stretch now. This is such a wonderful gift and they are going to love love love it!
    I've started sewing all my binding on by machine. I'll have to post a tutorial about it some day.
