JL QAL Block #3

After dropping off Cowabunga Florabunda off to be quilted, I pulled the 3rd FQ to make a JL block.

Here are the current assortment of blocks... and yes, two are not oriented correctly.

I wish I could take better photos.

  1. My, you have all kinds of flowers in your garden. It's going to be lovely!

  2. So easy to become "disoriented" with these ladders. At least you only placed it wrong, but have it sewn correctly. I'm the one who has unpicked blocks I had sewn together wrong, only to sew them back together wrong again!

  3. Do not...I repeat...do not get me started on another one!

These look great...your photos are fine!

  6. In the interests of better photos, you could edit your photos before you get them to the blog.... I've just recently found out that I could brighten them (with a contrast tool on the picture file - just look around, and see what is there when you download from the chip) and that really makes them look like I had intended in the first place.
    Hugs,

  9. I think your blocks look great and I also think your pictures look fine! Of course, that is coming from someone who is photo challenged too!
