4 Patches 4 Hope: Progress

Saturday afternoon, I started pulling fabric scraps from the bins and cut them into 2.5" squares.  I really didn't count... just chain pieced and chain pieced some more.

This blocks will go out in today's mail.

  1. Lovely, for some reason I love simple blocks. Put with others they make such a statement!! I'll try to do some this week as I have finished up several projects. Thanks for sharing your work!!

  2. Great job, Freda. I just pulled fabrics for mine this morning. Probably won't get as many made as you did, but I am under the gun to get a top finished for the longarm quilter today and I won't be home very much. Will use the 4-patches as my leader/enders and see what I can do.

  3. I made a bunch over the weekend, but then found a stack of 5" squares I don't have anything planned for. I think I will make a few more before I close the envelope. They go so quickly. Have a wonderful day.

  4. What an easy way to donate to a worthy cause. Thanks for posting about this. I think I could even manage to get some four patch put together. A good way to use up some more of my stash!!

  5. Oh how wonderful - I can't wait to see them in person and introduce them to everyone else's blocks. Leaders and enders are a great idea from Janet O.! It is fun reading how enthusiastically everyone is embracing this - love it!
