The tree skirt arrived almost exactly 24 hours after I dropped it off at the post office. The girls decided on the Christmas owls side...
Fuzzy photo taken on DD's cell phone!
My dear DIL sent me this photo of grandson Henry wearing the red scarf I made him last year.
Okay.... these definitely cheered me up today!
Let's sing... altogether now!

The fruits of your labors--delightful!!
ReplyDeleteThis brought a smile to my face and I didn't even make any of this stuff! : )
Wonderful.....Henry is quite the heart breaker with that smile. And of course the girls wanted the owls to show. Great grands make grandma smile! Hope you are mending and feeling better.
ReplyDeleteHappy grandchildren gives a happy grandma.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Debbie that Henry must be the hartbreaker of the family... who can resist such a smile...
Everything in this post made me smile!!! So glad that I dropped by this morning - it's been a very busy week for us here on the ranch - very good, but very busy! So, I'm reading blogs to catch up - Always, always love reading yours!!

Hope you're feeling better these days. I think about ya lots... someday we'll get together in person! I hope your December goes well. :)
ReplyDeleteAh, grandchildren - there's nothing like them, is there?
ReplyDeleteYou are the best granny, Freda! :o)
ReplyDeleteI think it is so sweet to get these pictures of your gifts being enjoyed! I hope you are feeling much better these days.
ReplyDeleteThat is a really great DIL that remembers to take a pic of your gift being worn! Lucky you!
ReplyDeleteSuch a sweet photo of your little Chloe by the tree...the skirt is perfect! And how handsome Henry is in his scarf! Looks like he might be learning some fancy tying techniques with it. (Oh, PT's is awesome...my son worked there for a few years ;-) What comfort and joy you were blessed with today!
ReplyDeleteI had a feeling the girls would choose the owl fabric to be on the outside. And that Henry gets cuter every year.
