....and an even larger loopy line around the outside border.
The quilting didn't look too bad before washing and it looked great (imho) after it was washed and dried.
I got the idea for this quilt from a tutorial by Missouri Star Quilt Company. The finished quilt is about 57" square and is now draped over the back of the sofa in the living room.

ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty quilt! I really like it. I also LOVE that feeling of taking one out of the dryer. I must say that your quilting is awesome. The loopy lines are great. I'm going to try doing that the next time I want a little something different in the borders.

Great job on the FMQ! Your loops are lovely, and the (gray?) thread looks amazing. What a cheerful and cozy holiday addition. I know it feels good to finish! Gonna have to try the pinwheel HST pattern soon!
