Aw, I know it's sad to see them go. I always feel bad when we leave my inlaws house, b/c I know how much they love to have grandchildren there! That peach jam sounds yummy!! Sounds like a fun thing to do together, and to pass down to the next generations. :)
What wonderful memories (and jam) you all made! I have such rich memories of visits with my grandmothers. On a similar note, I froze peaches today and made pies :-)
How far away do they live? Do you get together often? Looks like some great memory building time!
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful visit. Do you have the next one scheduled? I hope so.

ReplyDeleteYou miss them, but you got to enjoy them for several days. The joys of summer and grandma's house.

ReplyDeleteSounds like you had a wonderful time - and what a delicious parting gift!
ReplyDeleteI imagine your three girls will go through quite a few jars of that luscious jam.

You are a great grandma! These girls are going home with wonderful memories.
ReplyDeleteDitto on the wonderful memories. It is hard when everyone goes home. The house is too quiet.
