Lol.....it is hard to spot. At least you found it before quilting and can change it if you want. I'll give a hint....lower left block. Still looking good!
If you didn't say anything I wouldn't have noticed. Yes, lower left block. I't fun how it always happens even when we are sewing very easy peaces. Anyway it is lovely!
I love seeing this come together. I think it does well in just two colors! Well, when you mention it, of course we HAVE to find the goof. When I made mine there was one block where I sewed all of the 4-patch units in going the wrong direction. I unpicked it all and sewed it back up--this time some of my HSTs were turned wrong. I couldn't believe it took three tries to get that block right!
This is beautiful! I love the pale yellow. I tried to find the mistake myself, but I had to read through the comments to find it. Even then it took me a while :)
Okay, on a more intense observation I did find a slight goof, but if you don't add any more blocks on that side, I don't think the casual viewer would notice... we see it because, 1. you brought out attention to it, and 2. we're quilters. Depending on your intended recipient you may just want to leave it there... something for the recipient to find. Perfect things are not as interesting. Hugs,
looks like you've got a little funky block going on the left edge there. Easily fixed and good to discover early! I like taking photos along the way - it allows me to see issues. this one will be beautiful.
Its beautiful! I guess its too early for me to see any mistakes. Looks perfect to me. I got up too late to do my morning 15 minutes of quilting!

I do love those blocks. (And at least you found the goof up before it was all sewn together!)
ReplyDeleteIt's looking beautiful! It was only a small good :)
ReplyDeleteThere's nothing that you can't fix.
ReplyDeleteIt's going to be a great quilt.
Greetings.
I see the goof up but I wont tell. It adds interest to the quilt. Hugs.

ReplyDeleteEven though you told us - No, I don't see any goof up. It's a beautiful quilt!

ReplyDeleteHugs,
A goof or a design enhancement? Who of us can make that decision? Not me that's for sure.
ReplyDeleteLove it. Selina

ReplyDeleteLooking good, like the fabrics. Maybe the lower left yellow square if off. What is a quilt without a little goof?
ReplyDeleteThat's a good tip from Patti D to take pictures as you go. Too often, I find an error after the piece is quilted.
