Dear Empress,
ReplyDeleteI hope you are staying dry and well powered. We are all watching this storm and praying for our countrymen and bloggy friends.
Hugs,
Wow, nature just sometimes has to show who is boss. So much devastation. My heart goes out to the folks caught in the midst of the fury!
ReplyDeleteThank you for posting pictures. Terrible.
ReplyDeleteHope since you are blogging that the worst is past you and yours. The serious rain has just reached us here in central NJ. No wind yet. Got my fingers crossed for the trees to stay in place. If I have electricity I'll check in tomorrow. Selina
ReplyDeleteIt is sad to see the destruction. Really makes me appreciate the small things.
ReplyDeletePowerful pictures, this is going to get so much worse before it moves on out. I pray for every one in its path.
ReplyDeleteReally scary stuff when mother nature starts playing around this way . My thoughts are with those in the path of Irene.
ReplyDeleteWe finally got power back and it finally quit raining! But, we are so blessed that that's the worst thing that happened. Good Night Irene!
ReplyDeleteWHOA! Glad you are OK in your area and that your family is also OK. I have to admit, I am way happier dealing with earthquakes in California than hurricanes and tornadoes that they have elsewhere.
ReplyDeleteYikes! Hope all is well with you!
ReplyDeleteThank goodness it wasn't as bad as they first thought. I'm grateful all is well for you and your family.
ReplyDeleteJust terrible!!! It's hard to imagine.
