Another sweet chick, Freda! Have a great first day, and the beginning of a great new year, too! I do enjoy all the new beginnings we get from working in the school systems ~:-}pokey
I always enjoy my vacation but I'm also glad when I can go to my wordk again... all good things have an end.And another lovely chicken finished.
Ooooh, I love the pink chicken. Very funky. Good luck at your first day back at work. :o)
Your bantams are so cute! Great project to finish off summer vacation with. Much less work than the real ones too.
Have a great "new year"!
I hope your new year gets off to a great start!
Already? Exactly where did the summer go? I know I missed it somewhere. Wishing you a wonderful return to school days.
I love your new chook !!And not just because it's pink either......I love the feather on top.
You make me smile!! What a darling chick!!
No wonder it made you smile. It's adorable.
2 weeks before the teachers? No fair! But Miss Hen is just the cutest! Looks like you might have appliqued a heart on her ;-)
That's one sweet chick, love the pink. When I worked as a long term sub in the office of an elementary we went back about now, maybe a week later, but had to be there a week or two before the teachers to get everything ready. I still miss being around the kids. Have a good school year.
One can never have too many chicks in the henhouse! : )
That's quite a coup you are building there. Any eggs in the future?Hugs
No No Say it isn't sew .... I want vacation to last a LOT longer!! Your Chicken is adorable!!
You are way too funny.BTW, I love the new look of your blog.

This is so cute. I discovered these chickens at my last quilt group meeting and have been making them ever since. Bella loves them and we made one together the other day. As soon as I get back from convention, I will post the photos that Tom took of our efforts.
I'd rather make a chicken than think about returning to work too!
