Jelly Roll Quilt
While waiting for the backing fabric for the 16-patch quilt to arrive, I did a little mindless sewing...
...now, just need to pin and start quilting, which will be my fall back wavy-line quilting. Then, I will need to figure out what to use for binding.
It's beautiful, Freda! :o)
ReplyDeleteThe batiks look very nice as a jelly roll quilt.
ReplyDeleteThe colors in the quilt really draw me in and there is something very soothing about mindless piecing.
ReplyDeleteThis is beautiful, Wanda. My favorite go to quilt pattern and quilting method for a quick, lovely, colorful quilt, especially in batiks. I made a batik one and use it everyday. I love your banner and your post today reminds me that I want to make another.
ReplyDeleteTruly easy sewing with beautiful results. A good keeper, gift or donation quilt idea. Thank you, dear.
Mmmm, yummy batiks!! Is this for you?
ReplyDeleteThat's a beauty. I'm working on a strip quilt of blues and yellows now - found it in a box while I was looking for my 9 1/2' ruler. It's not that beautiful. Don't you just love batiks!
ReplyDeleteHugs
I love this one. You make some beautiful quilts. Hugs, Cathy
ReplyDeleteVery colorful, and might I say, quirky! That kind of sewing is enjoyable. ♥
ReplyDeletePlease make sure to post your fall back, wavy line quilting. I have a jelly roll that needs quilting too!
ReplyDeletePerhaps you should change your name to the Mad Quilter, respectfully of course Your Majesty.
ReplyDeleteVery colorful. Bring on spring.
