Sometimes, when you've finished a long-running project, you need to work on a project that will be completed quickly...
...to boost your spirits...
...and help you remember that sewing projects don't have to last MONTHS and MONTHS...
...not to mention YEARS!
A project that lasts an hour or so...
...with bright, colorful fabrics...
...can even make a rainy Saturday morning cheerful and fun!
Very cheery pillow coverings! It is fun to make something that gives you the immediate gratification of a finish (or closure, as I like to call it).
ReplyDeleteAww, how cute. ...and you're so right about the need to get working on something new to soothe the spirit I say.
ReplyDeletePillow cases are so much fun to make. Very cheery!
ReplyDeleteYou have it right! Need to finish a biggie and then do something quick and easy. Love the pillowcases....very cute fabrics. You JL looks wonderful....and soft.
ReplyDeleteI am on the same track...yesterday I made a half dozen luggage tags just so I could feel what it is like to finish something!
ReplyDeleteYour pillowcases look great!
Cute, cute, cute!!! It is nice to have a quick project!! I have a couple of those I'm going to do next week!
ReplyDeleteHave a great day!!
So bright, so cheery and so fast. Good job.
ReplyDeleteAren't they fun! I'm looking forward to sewing a bunch for the next FNSI!
ReplyDeleteTotally agree, some quick finish gratification is what you need to give you incentive to carry on with the bigger projects.
ReplyDeleteYour photos are getting better and better all the time! Good work!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pillow covers and useful, too.
