Despite being careful and despite taking a photo and posting said photo.... it took an eagle-eyed friend to spot something funky in one of my JL blocks...
...so guess what I unsewed and resewed yesterday afternoon?
Oh My!! Aren't you glad someone caught that.... I did not see it... of course I am still looking at the picture when laying my blocks out... I get so backwards LOL
I am really enjoying the florals you are using. I have one in the pile that has that much white space, and I was wondering about using it. After seeing yours, I think I am going to. This mistake is one I made on my first block. So easy to get things turned around.
My DH always says I can't see for looking and he's right. I would have never seen that. Cute block!
ReplyDeleteI didn't see it!
ReplyDeleteIt isn't very hard to do.
ReplyDeleteFrom the one that knows.... lol.
I don't think it is hard to have missed that. I think this sort of thing happens to many quilters, it has happened to me.
ReplyDeleteHappy stitching
Everyone make's a mistake once in a while...
ReplyDeleteEagle-eyed friends are good to have around!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad I'm not the only one that has to have someone else point out where I goofed up - lol!
ReplyDeleteEllen has a great eye!!! Although, I do hate it when that happens. Better now, though!!! :-)
ReplyDeletebetter now than later! (and good it wasn't spotted in cowabunga or whatever that one off at the spa is called!)
ReplyDeleteThanks for continuing to post qal photos. I hope start cutting soon - want to do this with stash of thimbleberries fabric i have.

ReplyDeleteI didn't see it either, great that it was caught before you had sewed it all up.
ReplyDeleteI always catch these things AFTER the quilt is completed.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty floral! I'm debating myself whether I would have unsewed though, and the jury is still out ;-)
ReplyDeleteCall me dumb, but I don't see it.
