Anyone who bet that I could wait to start sewing blocks together until this coming Thursday... lost big time! Patience is not one of my virtues.
I have 18 of 30 blocks sewn together and accomplished this between doing laundry and working in the kitchen. Only 12 more blocks left to go.

While all of us in the US are celebrating Independence Day and are enjoying all the festivities with family and friends, I would like to take a moment or three to remember all those who fought and died to give us that independence, those who have fought and died to defend our freedoms, and those who continue to fight and give their lives so that we all can celebrate this day each year.
Blocks look awesome!! Happy 4th, Freda!
