Doll Nightgown

I got behind in my sewing projects but tackled a doll night gown after work yesterday.   One down, one to go...

Perfectionism reared its ugly head and I had to keep telling myself that this was "for a DOLL...  let that dressmaking (fiddly) stuff go!"    *lol*

  1. Good for you. Neither the doll, nor the doll's mother, will know the difference or care! : )

  8. Looks perfect to me. Don't sweat the small stuff... and lets face it a doll nightie is small. (I learned to sew making pjs, they are supposed to be where mistakes are made.

  10. It's adorable, Freda. I was the same last week. I kept telling myself "the dolly won't care if you use white thread instead of cream!" :oD

  11. I think that's one reason I have a problem with doll clothes. They don't go together like people garments do. Yours looks perfect to me.

  12. Oh, yes, sometimes we must be hard on ourselves to prevent that perfectionist screaming in our ears!
