Not much sewing....

...will be happening for the next few days.  My daughter and granddaughters are visiting.   While all my little girls are the lake with friends, their animal friends are napping...

...so they can stay up late and party with the girls!

Due to the MS, I have to avoid the summer heat but I will be busy here... I have a watermelon and cantaloupe to cut up and granola to make!

My daughter taught me to peel a watermelon like this video.... makes cutting one up so much easier!

And I don't want to hear anything about teaching an old dog new tricks...    *lol*

When I got in the car after work yesterday the steering wheel and my sunglasses were so hot I could hardly touch them. Need to find some shade or buy a windshield shade thingie!

So staying in is a smart idea.

  16. So great that you have all the girls there.

I've cut a lot of watermelons in my time, but never thought to do it that way. Definitely will try it - looks much easier.
