Love that movie--though Fred Astaire was a bit old to be Judy's leading man at the time. I believe Gene Kelly was supposed to have the role, but he had a conflict or got sick, or something. : ) I'm just a fountain of useless info about old movies! : )
I recorded the film but it ran overtime and DD and I missed the ending. Fortunately, I knew I had given the video to my dad a few years ago so when we were visiting my mother for Mothers' Day I "inherited" the video and brought it home with me! Now I just have to wait for DD to visit so we can watch the ending!
