Tiny Houses: Batik Series (cont'd)

Paper-piecing is going more smoothly but I can't recommend it when when one is not 100%...

...trying to get the right size fabric scrap can be challenging!  Too easy to misalign or cut too small...  but it can be fixed thankfully.

And, of course, the glaring errors as just so very clear in photos...  *rolling eyes*     (I am getting better, slowly but surely!)

  1. Giggle, giggle. If you hadn't mentioned the glaring error I might have missed it. I was centered on the pink shutters. Very cool.

  3. Heh. Won't be noticed on a galloping horse. Love the background you chose!

  4. One man's mistake is another man's work of art. I just made that up but it's so true. :o)

  5. These are all turning out so cute! I don't see anything wrong. Sorry you have been sick during your time off work, but glad you are feeling better. Enjoy the rest of it! July is coming to a close so quickly! We have another grandson coming in August, and he'll be here before we know what happened.

  6. For this one, I would rip out the seam, then take the whole piece of the sky fabric and sew on, cut off after turning.... it's a mistake we have made - many times. Don't feel badly. (And yes, there comes a time to take a break or quit sewing for the day... especially if you aren't 100%.

  7. Paper-piecing can be aggravating even when you are 100%. Great job.
