I wonder why it is so easy to put aside "my quilt" to work on the baby quilt? Am I that easily distracted? Or want to get it finished because the baby will be here in 3 months (unless it comes early)?
16 nine-patch blocks made
Or is it because the baby quilt is way smaller and will be a quicker finish? It's a puzzlement....
Are you already falling for the excitement of something new? LOL
ReplyDeleteAll of the above, it seems to me. Looking forward to seeing it!
ReplyDeleteAs long as you're having fun, I wouldn't worry too much about the whys and wherefores. :oD
ReplyDeleteIt's always fun to start something new, especially a baby quilt.
ReplyDeleteI bet the answer is "yes".....
ReplyDeleteBright colors are always fun to work with in winter! have a great day.
ReplyDeleteWow, you are moving right along with the baby d9p! It will be extra cute with those bright colors.
ReplyDeleteI'm planning on making a couple of scrap blocks this afternoon (maybe...)that I've seen on Quiltville. Sometimes its good to have a little diversion from the current project so as not to get bored. I guess that's another reason I like scrap quilts. Each block is a little different. Kind of like doing a sampler quilt.
I must admit, I seem to have developed a similar malady...baby quilt-itis! I have a first grand baby on the way...and am overwhelmed by all the choices!! Sigh, it's a good thing they didn't have the internet when I was a new mother!!
ReplyDeleteAnything for a new baby is more fun than something for a grownup. : )
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see the quilt.
