UFO #1: A Finish

I finished my oldest UFO today and it is a great feeling to get that project crossed off the list!

It's headed towards the washer to start the oh-so-soft-and-crinkly process.   On to the next UFO on the list....

  11. I love your blues and yellows together. You've some mellow yellows. Seems like strings were the prefect design, too. Lovely.

  12. Your quilt is sooooo pretty! And now you'll be able to use it and love it. I'm pretty close to a finish as well on a long time UFO... one side of the outside border left to do and then it will be time to trim and bind. Mine is only a lap size or children's size though.

  13. Such a pretty and bright quilt. It is so dreary here looking at your quilt is like at a sunny day.

  14. I love it. Blue is my favorite color and I use it a lot. I don't think I'll ever get tired of it or seeing anything made with it. Your quilt is wonderful and it's nice to get an old project finished too. I know you will get lots of finishes this year! Good job, Freda.

  15. Looking good. I have just finished a scrappy QAYG string quilt and I'm not in a hurry to make another one! Yours looks good with its limited palette and the white diagonal on every block.
