Slice & Dice

I'm not too fond of the time change, either in the spring or the fall.  Takes me way to long to get used to it.  However, I must say that it is easier to sew in the evening when it's still light out...

I have three rows of 4-block D9P...  just two more to go before top assembly begins!

  2. Your quilt is looking good Freda and I understand the 'changing weather' problem.
At the beginning of last week it was almost 20 degrees and now we have 10 centimetres snow and it's freezing 4 degrees....... I NEED SUN TOO....

    1. You are making amazing progress!

I have to get used to the time change too. Not a fan of it in the Fall, but in the Spring its not quite as bad.

      Have a good day today!

  3. Looks wonderful!!! I HATE the time change! We live and work on a ranch - so go by the sun most of the time!! If someone wants to do something earlier - get up earlier!!! Oh well, doesn't do me much good to complain - so I just live with it!!

    Have a great day!

  7. Hi there, I just found your blog and have thoroughly enjoyed browsing through it. I was looking through your "quilts I've completed so far" section, and came upon the quilt you made for your son and daughter-in-law ( blues, greens, brown), and I just love it. My son wants a quilt for his bed with "big pieces of material" and "not too fussy" pattern. This looks like what I've been looking for, but I can't find where you've listed the name of the pattern. Would you mind pointing me in that direction? Love your work and your sense of humor. Thanks. My email is angmil@charter.net if you'd be so kind as to email me.

  8. Our clocks don't go forward until the 30th but, you're right about it being hard to get used to it. I always think it's a bit like jetlag but without the travel!

I'm loving your 9 patch. It looks fab! :o)

  10. I'm right there with you on the time change too. I wish they would stop it. It had a purpose at one time, but that has passed. Now, it's just an irritation, at least to me it is.

I like you D9P blocks, these are looking good. I have one more row to put on mine too before I call this one a completed top. Then, I have plans for another in a different color and maybe a different setting. I like using my scraps on these. Fun and quick too.
