Friday Night Sew In

Last night was the FNSI with Heidi and Bobbi and...  if it hadn't been for blogging buddy Roos of Quiltwerk in Uitvoering...  I would have missed the June edition for sure!

I didn't have to create a project since I'm working on the neverending-hourglass-block project and was able to complete 20 blocks to add to the growing pile o' blocks.

I still have a zillion blocks left to go but I'll get done some year!

  1. Lovely fabrics and every block finished is one block closer to a quilt -- I believe you need to celebrate each little step - they are all accomplishments to be proud of. Have a great weekend.

  6. Your blocks look great Freda, I'm still in the cutting stage although not much done this week. Everyday life got in the way of sewing. I'll cut just a little more and then start to sew my hourglass.

  8. Great blocks! It will be a great quilt when finished and it doesnt matter how long it takes as long as the journey is enjoyed. I have a quilt that is being hand quilted and it has been a quilting WIP for about 5 years. I just do a bit here and a bit there lol.

  9. I saved this pattern, but I don't know if it will ever surface to the top of the list. I'm happy to see your progress and admire your stick-to-it-iveness!
