Cobalt Blue & White

I started my next project...  a small one so that I can practice my quilting more frequently this year.  I'm using a dark blue/cobalt floral fusion fabric by Robert Kaufman and a white-on-white Dimples by Andover.... both from my stash.

I wanted to wait til it was sunny to take a photo but it's been raining here for two days running.  Can't complain... seems this State is always in drought stage.

  1. My crabapples quilt currently on my design wall has a lot of those fusion fabrics. They are very pretty. Don't know if I have seen one that dark before. Nice. : )
Which state do you call home? My state seems to be in the same boat much of the time, though we are in a wet pattern right now.

  2. Always fun to start a new project - what size are the blocks?

  3. I like the idea of just one color with the white. I love blue but I am want to try making a red and white one day. I also like the idea of making each block in a different pattern,

  6. These are wonderful! I've long wanted to make a two color quilt but could never decide on the "perfect" fabric.
