I got to my LQS for their anniversary sale and picked up three additional solids: blue, aqua, and pink. When I got home and looked at all five solids together with the prints... the pink was soooo wrong! So out it went...
So, I think I'm ready for the Grandmother's Choice BOW starting on September 1st.... unless I change my mind again about what fabrics to use...
The solids look great beside the prints. I'm looking forward to seeing what you do with them. :o)
ReplyDeleteYou are so smart to plan your BOW so well. I am way behind on my bow and bom. :o(
ReplyDeleteit is tough to match sometimes! I am going to join along this time in the BOW and was thinking of doing it as a two color quilt - maybe cream and blue. Haven't ordered any fabrics yet. I searched the blog for a materials list and didn't see anything - did you find it?
ReplyDeleteYou have a delicious selection of fabrics. I will watch with great interest to see this come together (emphasis on WATCH--I am not joining another sew-along until this year is over. Did that sound decisive, maybe?). : )
ReplyDeleteDon's change Freda, these fabrics matches perfect to eachother.
ReplyDeleteI hope you were able to find the right pink. Love the fabrics you have selected to work with.
ReplyDeleteThose fabrics are great together. Anxious to see how they look in the blocks.

Lovely fabrics, as always, and the BoW looks intriguing too. Though I must remain watching from afar I've definitely got enough on at the moment.
ReplyDeleteLovely fabrics and what a cute little girl!
