My friend Cynthia of The Quilting Post visited her local Tuesday Morning store this past Tuesday... and found quilting fabric precuts! I had a few minutes before meeting a friend for dinner last night and dropped by my local Tuesday Morning.... took me a while to find it but there was indeed a shelf on an end cap with precuts!
I restrained myself and only got two FQ bundles with five FQs in each bundle.... at a dollar per FQ!
The fabric is soft and silky to touch!
In addition to charm packs and pre-packaged 1-yd cuts, there were a couple of regular FQ bundles... you know... the big stack of FQs at $30.... but I didn't care for the colors especially.... and I'm not going to buy fabric just because it's a good price... not if I don't see me using it.
Some of the bundles were Free Spirit & Westminster...
I am jealous....no Tuesday Morning here. great find especially for the price.
ReplyDeleteI rarely go in my Tuesday Morning store, but I'll be checking now.

What a great little find!!
ReplyDeleteVery tempting! And I succumbed! I'm going to keep checking back when I'm in the vicinity of a TM. I'd been told that they were stocking some of these last summer, but they were very low quality. I love Westminster fabrics, and they are high quality. And what a great way for people new to the craft, who may be unsure of whether they will like quilting, to have an opportunity to work with a range of prints.
ReplyDeleteI think I will be making a trip to Tuesday Morning!! Thanks for the tip!

Thanks Freda, but that could be dangerous for me. I'm trying to "NOT" buy any new fabric. Don't know how long I can hold out.
ReplyDeleteDon't have a Tuesday Morning here.Bummer. I love the black and white selection you chose, and the owls are great.
ReplyDeleteI have seen a few fat quarters at mine in the past, now I'll have to drop by there and look again! Thanks for the tip-off. :) I love the FQs that you found, esp the B&W ones. xo
ReplyDeleteThanks for the shout-out gf! Glad you found something to add to your 'little' stash (har-har)...my fave would be the b&w. Well, and the blue of course ;-)
ReplyDeleteI like those! If I'm ever near one of those stores I'll be sure to check.
ReplyDeleteWow. I will be heading there to check it out as soon as they open!
ReplyDeleteI have two different Tuesday Mornings I can shop. I find a lot of quality yarn there.
ReplyDeleteI found a bag of good quality solids with a Gees Bend pattern at my TM! Good info to post.
ReplyDeleteI didn't need your blog to alert me... I got into trouble all by myself, lol. One Tuesday Morning near me is the biggest in VA. I got a fat quarter stack that I think will be handy to have in stock to make a feminine quilt at short notice. I didn't see that black and white set whilst I was shopping.
ReplyDeleteGood shopping.
