Canton Village Quilt Works started a year-long BOM in September. Since I had so much going on, I resisted... I was so proud of myself!
Yesterday, I came across Debbie J's blog post at Angel Scraps Quilting where she shared her first two blocks for the BOM.

Yes! That's right... Debbie chose to use holiday fabrics... what a great idea!
BOM + already have fabrics = quilt for next Christmas!
Oh yes, indeedy... it's all Debbie J's fault that I'm starting yet another BOM! That's my story and I'm sticking to it....
I hope you can stick to it--all the way through 12 blocks. Then you will have a fun Christmas quilt and I will be watching. : )
ReplyDeleteI'm impressed, I'm barely keeping up with my gifts for this year. Of course I could probably play catch up in January, hmmmmmmm
ReplyDeleteHard to resist!! lol beautiful fabrics!! It'll be a lovely quilt!
ReplyDeleteBlessings
What's one more BOM in the grand scheme of things? Why miss the fun, right?
ReplyDeleteStart next year;s Christmas quilt now ... not a bad idea.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Sheila that it's a very good idea to start a Christmas quilt now - for next year.
ReplyDeleteI have been saving the patterns, but haven't decided on fabric yet. I llike the Christmas quilt idea.
ReplyDeleteThose are very pretty, and HST's are fun to create patterns with. I look forward to your creations!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful fabrics in your stash, btw.
ReplyDeleteSince I have spent the last two days making little crib quilts I think it is entirely appropriate that someone got you into something!
ReplyDeleteI love your Christmas fabrics. The quilt will be gorgeous! I may need your encouragement next summer when its 100 degrees and I am making a Christmas block.
ReplyDeleteYeah, I'm liking where you are going with this!!! I'm telling you bloggers are temptresses in sheep's clothing! LOL!
ReplyDeleteIt will look wonderful... and yes - I would blame her too LOL
ReplyDeleteSure, it's Debbie's fault. If that works for you, you just go right ahead. it's so much easier to blame someone else than to admit you area quiltaholic!! Denial - not just a river in Egypt!
ReplyDeleteIt's gettin' to look a lot like CHRISTMAS!
