My First Friday Night Sew In

Tonight is my very first FRIDAY NIGHT SEW IN... and I am so excited because I'll get some sewing done along with some others, share photos and see what everyone else accomplished on Saturday, AND be eligible for a give-away on Sunday! What fun!

I have a charm pack and a jelly roll of Moda's Lilac Hill...



...and will be following a Missouri Star Quilt Company's tutorial.





The Lilac Hill fabric is only available in precuts right now and I'd like to get the center of the quilt top sewn so I can decide which of the fabrics to order for the borders. Decisions, decisions, decisions!

Despite having to work tomorrow morning (snow make-up day), I'll be ready to go this evening! Ladies.... start your engines!

    Oh I'm loving that fabric! Looks like it's going to be just beautiful. Can't wait to see your progress during your first Friday Night Sew-in! How exciting! I just love MSQC tutorial too. Aren't they the best??

    I heard through the grapevine it was um, "raucous". That was one of the adjectives describing Friday Night Sew-In. ;)
