Sometimes, one needs to do a quick project because closure is a good thing! So, this weekend, I made a table runner from soft neutrals that are supposed to resemble beach sand.
Oh they are soooo pretty and yes, they do have a sandy beach feel to them. And I'm so glad that you posted about them today. I'm working on some small finishes too and was thinking of binding them in the same fabric I used for the sashing. Seeing yours gives me an idea of what that would look like. Yes, matching binding is the way to go. Thank you!
I always try to alternate a long term project with a quick one, but sometimes it seems they are all long. The neutrals are nice and I bet you didn't get bored with the like if it was a full sized quilt.
Nice "beach sand" effect!
ReplyDeleteFinishes are always good! : )
Love the neutral color combination. It feels like the beach...sand. Congrats on another finish.
ReplyDeleteLovely!

ReplyDeleteAhhhh, your runner and topper take me to Holden Beach. Sigh and thanks.
