I started my next project... a small one so that I can practice my quilting more frequently this year. I'm using a dark blue/cobalt floral fusion fabric by Robert Kaufman and a white-on-white Dimples by Andover.... both from my stash.
I wanted to wait til it was sunny to take a photo but it's been raining here for two days running. Can't complain... seems this State is always in drought stage.
My crabapples quilt currently on my design wall has a lot of those fusion fabrics. They are very pretty. Don't know if I have seen one that dark before. Nice. : ) Which state do you call home? My state seems to be in the same boat much of the time, though we are in a wet pattern right now.
I like the idea of just one color with the white. I love blue but I am want to try making a red and white one day. I also like the idea of making each block in a different pattern, hugs beebee

Always fun to start a new project - what size are the blocks?

I love 2 color quilts. Your blocks are beautiful. Hugs, Cathy
ReplyDeleteThose blocks are fab, Freda. Can't wait to see how it all turns out. :o)
ReplyDeleteThese are wonderful! I've long wanted to make a two color quilt but could never decide on the "perfect" fabric.
ReplyDeleteI've wanted to make a blue and white quilt for some time. I should start at least a small one. Yours is going to be so pretty.
