The psych staff has a new office... as in a 8'x10' space with bare walls and no windows. Two of us will be working out of this space thru June, starting back again August 1st, conducting what is called "summer testing." I've taken it upon myself to make this closet a workable space and made a Mary Englebreit panel into a wall hanging to bring some color into the institutional off-white/antique white room.
The finished wall hanging is appx 22" wide by 42" long. I did some outline quilting as well as a bit of freehand quilting. Nothing spectacular but it does add a bit of color to the space....
And a delightful touch of humor, too. Good idea!
ReplyDeleteEight by ten, sounds more like a jail, cell, ay least you will, have Mary E to brighten your space.
ReplyDeleteAre the walls padded at least? ;)
ReplyDeleteI think a quilt could make even a jail cell more tolerable. Is this a permanent move? It sounds small for two of you.
ReplyDeleteHow cute and appropriate for you.....a little bit of humor goes a long way. Know you are glad things are winding down.
ReplyDeleteI love her drawings, well done.
ReplyDeleteLove Mary Engelbreit - always so cheerful.
