Getting inventive....

I didn't want to put a hanging sleeve on the L.O.V.E mini quilt and had forgotten about putting the corners under the binding and using a chopstick....   so, I make a "rod" from a clothes hanger and sewed four "belt loops" on the back for the rod.

I tied a ribbon to the loops in the rod.... and it works pretty well....  and the wire thingie can be removed to wash the mini.

  1. Aren't you the clever one?
"Love" looks so pretty hanging there. It is smaller than I was picturing. What are the dimensions?

  7. Very inventive. That's an idea that will be stolen many times. I hate making sleeves so this plan is pure genius.

  8. OH, what did you use to bend the little loops? Needle-nose pliers?

  9. very clever of you. On the small ones when I forget or on mug rugs I want to hang I generally use straight pins. This is so much more "finished".

  10. It looks good. Some times on a mini quilt I put folded squares (turned into triangles) in the top corners of the quilt. I use a bamboo skewer and hang on a single nail or thumbtack. It works too. Hugs
