Those of us who live in The Hurricane Magnet of the World (aka: North Carolina) are accustomed to paying close attention to hurricanes. I'm safe here in south central NC but the Outer Banks of NC are taking a hit.... and it's only the outer bands that we're getting...
My son and his family live in Wilmington NC...

Prayers for all in Sandy's path!
We are in Delaware and not used to have one hit so close... take care and I hope your family in NC will be safe! We are hoping it blows further out and doesn't actually land in NJ as it is predicting :-/
ReplyDeleteOoooo, awful.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness that's really scary. My thoughts are with everyone in Sandy's path! Be safe!
ReplyDeletePrayers for your son and his family too! We vacation at Holden Beach every Summer, and skirt Wilmington on the way there. North Carolina beaches are the best!
ReplyDeletePlease stay safe, this is going to be a monster storm. Praying for all in harms way.
ReplyDeleteOur prayers are definitely being sent in behalf of all affected by this storm!

Wishing you and yours safety while "Sandy" passes through. We're still waiting for the worst to hit...
ReplyDeleteSandy brushed past us leaving us with the usual clean-up, but now I find myself worrying about the family and friends who usually are calling and worrying about me.
ReplyDeleteHoly cow! We've got sustained winds of a whopping 15 mph and I'm a little queasy.... and I'm over 500 miles away! Stay safe, y'all!! (PS My Mom grew up on an island in the Tampa Bay and she loved when the 'canes came in.... it was an excuse for an island wide party!)
