I made a fabric run and picked up some stretchy gold fabric...
...is much brighter in real life!
Yup, sure did! Seems a grandson who thinks Grandma can make anything, wants to be this for Halloween...
Fortunately, I am not in charge of the helmet thing...
Isn't that what every ( grand) child thinks..... ;o)
ReplyDeleteThe fabric is perfect. He'll love the costume, especially 'cause Grandma made it for him ;)
ReplyDeleteGood luck, Freda. I can't wait to see your "shiny guy" costume. You should watch this video where a 3 year old tells the story of the first Star Wars film. It's so cute! http://youtu.be/EBM854BTGL0
ReplyDeleteOh boy.....what a project. Know it will be a hit with him.
ReplyDeleteCan't wait for the photo!!!
ReplyDeleteGood luck! I think it will turn out great. Way back in the 90s, I made my daughter a Princess Lei costume. I didn't have a pattern, but it turned out great. I made a Luke Skywalker for my nephew and the other nephew was a purchased Darth Vader. It was a fun Halloween.
ReplyDeleteAwesome Grandma you are!!!
ReplyDeleteGrandmas are wizards, aren't they? Good luck and I hope we get to see the outcome.
ReplyDeleteOH, you'll have so much fun!! I miss making halloween costumes. Dinosaur, zebra, Mario, Tiger.... So Much Fun. I can't wait to see the finished costume modeled!
ReplyDeleteOooh, I can't WAIT to see this! :o) How fun!
ReplyDeleteYou go, Grandma! It will be an awesome costume, no doubt!
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see the finish!!!
ReplyDeleteYou'll do a fantastic job.
ReplyDeleteVery nice, Grandma. Bella found glittery fairy wings to wear with her tutu, so I am off the hook this year. So far, at least.
ReplyDeleteI've made a lot of costumes but not that one. He's going to love it.
