Your first statement on this post made me LOL! I ask myself that soooo many times. Once a block gets sewn together it is easy to see what we would have preferred, isn't it? But not worth a redo. It is still a pretty block, even if the center isn't orange. : )
Both of your blocks this week are great. The center block on the purple one is really nice, and the orange and green on this one sing. Thank you for letting me know about this BOW.
Such a cheerful block!! I'm loving that your are making two! I finally cut the pieces for mine this morning and I cut extra playing with fabric placement - I think I finally got it and hope to sew it up later in the day!
I've been a long time follower but just took time to actually read your profile. You and I have followed very similar paths in life. I taught special needs children for 30 yrs and retired in Dec. 08. Like you I have 5 grandchidren and they are the joy of my life. Retirement has allowed me time to quilt and teach myself much like you. Blessings Gmama Jane
It's beautiful, Freda. Great job! :o)
ReplyDeleteI think pretty!
ReplyDeleteI like both Union Squares; it is interesting how different fabrics make the blocks look so different. Loving your table runner, too!
ReplyDeleteLooks like chicks and popcorn! I like it, very nice!
