FNSI Report


As did Heidi, one of our two gracious FNSI hostesses, I prepped my fabrics in the afternoon.


There was a bit more prep work for this project since I was determined to use fabrics from my stash.


Figured out what I was working on last night?

 

This quilt top is destined to become a birthday gift for my brother's 60th in December.  Yes, ,I'm starting early but... I know how life seems to interfere with one's plans.   As my friend Mirj always says, "Man plans, God laughs!"

    Success is always measured by the preparation. I just have to make a batik jelly roll quilt for ME. Yours is just stunning.

    That is gorgeous! I love the greens. It is very "piney" or "evergreeny." Nicely rich looking.

    Oh my Freda! This quilt is stunning! Wonderful! Beautiful greens. I love it! I know all the guys in my family would love to have a quilt like this quilt. I want to make one like yours.

    Those blue and greens you used in the jelly roll 1600 quilt go together wonderfully. I'm sure that your brother is going to love his birthday quilt.

    Ooo, lovely! I mean, great design for a guy :-) he will treasure it. You made quick work of it too! And couldn't help noticing the pretty rosy tablecloth.
