August...


...for me, is...


...and today is the day!    

Teachers come back on the 20th....


...and students come back on the 27th...






So.... what did I do yesterday?





Yup... made another chicken....  



... it made me happy!

  11. That's one sweet chick, love the pink. When I worked as a long term sub in the office of an elementary we went back about now, maybe a week later, but had to be there a week or two before the teachers to get everything ready. I still miss being around the kids. Have a good school year.

  17. This is so cute. I discovered these chickens at my last quilt group meeting and have been making them ever since. Bella loves them and we made one together the other day. As soon as I get back from convention, I will post the photos that Tom took of our efforts.
